Donations to The Terrapin Tank
The Terrapin Tank is run completely voluntarily by myself and every month costs are incurred. Due to recent forum upgrades and the size of the website I have been forced to upgrade the account and I am now paying more than I ever anticipated I would be for the site.
To put this in perspective, when the site opened I was paying a 6 monthly fee which was less than what I am now paying monthly.
I do not have a problem with paying for the site but any donations towards the running of the site are more than welcome.
As this page is new I have no idea what the response will be like but the aim is to use any donations towards the monthly cost of the hosting package and to have a review in six months of what is in the account, if the donations are more than the costs then the remaining balance will be donated to Reptile Rescue Hull. This is a charity which I am a supporter of and truely believe it is a good way to use any extra funds.
If you have any other ideas for the donation money than please feel free to contact me.
I do not intend to turn the Terrapin Tank into a profitable website.
